DESCRIPTION
The SN-1 is a bi-directional Spike and Noise Suppressor. Spike and Noise protection are both important for protecting sensitive electronics. Voltage spikes can damage electronics, while the RFI Noise can cause electronic controls to malfunction. The bi-directional feature allows the SN-1 to be used for both AC or DC without the worry of the correct polarity. Fig 2 shows how the SN-1 protects against lightning strikes by connecting the SN-1 between the control input you are protecting and Ground. Due to the high frequency noise filter inside, it is not recommended for lightning protection on data transmission lines or other high frequency applications.

Electronic Security Devices warrants to the original purchaser, that all products shall be free from defects in material or workmanship at time of shipment. Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing any of our products, providing said products are used within the specified ratings and applied in accordance with good engineering practice, and providing said products are proved by our examination to be defective and returned to us transportation prepaid. In no event shall Electronic Security Devices be liable for incidental, consequential or collateral damages. This warranty does not extend to any of our products which have been subject to misuse, neglect, accident, improper application or installation, nor shall it extend to materials which has been altered or repaired outside of our factory. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. Batteries and Transformers are not covered under this warranty.
