The
ETW-4 series is a Weatherproof CCTV power
supply. The Enclosure is NEMA 4 and UL
listed. The metal housing is totally
sealed protecting the transformer from dust, dirt, oil, and hose
directed
water. Hinged door with stainless steel
clamps provides easy access. The
multi-winding isolated and the standard transformer are UL 506
providing 24vac
with up to 4 Amps of continuous current for powering outdoor CCTV and

INSTALLATION |

|
1. CAUTION High
Voltage. This installation should be made
by a qualified service
person and
should conform to all local codes and in accordance with The National
Electrical Code or the equivalent. 2. Remove back-plate and mounted
transformer to punch or
drill wiring access holes as required on enclosure, re-install
back-plate and
transformer. 3. Mount the ETW-4 power supply in
desired location. Use watertight
connectors for cable entry. 4. Connect CCTV devices to Output Orange
and Red flying
wires. Orange wire is the same phase as the neutral high voltage. 5. If unit is ETW-4 type, connect CCTV
devices to Output
flying Orange and Red wires 6. if unit is ETW-44 type connect CCTV
devices to 4
output terminals. Each (group of 4)
output pair of terminals are identified with a number from 1 to 4, the

indicates neutral phase to be sure all CCTV devices can be connected in
synchronization. MW types are multi-winding isolated from one another. 7. Connect 120vac to power transformer
with the flying
Black and White leads. 8. ETW-44 type has a Green LED (ON
Normal) below each
Fuse/PTC to indicate status. 9. Units equipped with PTC auto resetting
Circuit
Breakers may require resetting. To reset
a tripped PTC, you may have to remove the load by removing one side of
the
tripped circuit and waiting up to 2 minutes this allows the PTC
re-settable
fuse to cool and reset to it's normal “ON” condition. 10. Connect 115vac to power transformer
with the labeled
flying Black and White leads. Use a base
plate mounting screw to connect Earth Ground. Conduit
fittings leading to the box must be appropriate
watertight
conduit fittings. 11. Secure enclosure door. |
